Who Are We?
Snappy Gurus started as a small community created by people who genuinely love games and want to help others find their place in the industry.
Since then, we've grown into a community of over 4,000 developers, students, graduates, and creatives, all supporting each other through the journey into games. We're passionate about making industry knowledge accessible and approachable - providing honest feedback and guidance.
Through our graduate programmes, we provide long-term support to help emerging talent build confidence, develop employability skills, and prepare for careers in the games industry.

How We Have Helped!
"The Indie Hour was an awesome platform for us to reach out to devs and help them with showcase prep. We loved the funky fresh vibe and appreciated that our wee indie presence grew more afterwards :3"

"I've been following Snappy Gurus since June 2022, and I've always appreciated what they've done for their community and the games industry. I really appreciate the insightful support with the Careers Week talks, and the engagement with their community game nights."

"I discovered Snappy Gurus in 2024 through their Careers Week event where I found the advice shared by industry professionals to be both insightful and encouraging. I've since continued to take part in events such as the weekly game nights and the seasonal game jams which have been great opportunities to meet and interact with an enthusiastic and welcoming community."

"I joined Snappy Gurus back in 2022 during a search for a space to grow my skills in digital art, all without knowing it was soooo much more! Its basically a bridge between aspiring individuals and the experienced pros in the game dev industry. There's career events, game jams, hangout sessions, and an encouraging environment to share your work for exposure or feedback. Plus they are some of the friendliest folks I've ever talked to. 10/10 community, would recommend you to join."

"I began following snappy gurus back in 2022 and discovered the opportunity to make connections and join online events with others interested in the gaming industry. I always look forward to their careers week where I've had the opportunity to learn from presentations by industry professionals and share work with other artists. All of the support offered by the community makes it a welcoming and positive place to be for any working in or towards the gaming industry."
