1-to-1 Mentoring

Move faster with someone who's already been there

Getting into games is hard. Progressing once you're in can be just as tricky. Book a mentor for mock interviews, portfolio and CV reviews, career advice, or feedback on your projects. Browse working professionals by specialism and pick who feels right for you.

Who it's for

For people serious about a career in games

Book sessions for mock interviews, portfolio and CV reviews, careers guidance, or feedback on your work. Mentors come from across the games industry and beyond, so whatever you're navigating, there's someone here who's done it.

How it works

Here's how it works

01

Browse mentors

Search through our mentors by specialism. Read about their background, experience, and what they can help you with.

02

Choose who fits

Pick the mentor that feels right for you. You're in control - no one is assigned to you.

03

Book a session

Choose a time that works and book directly. Your mentor will confirm and you're good to go.

04

Keep going

Regular sessions, feedback on your work, honest advice. As long or as short as you need.

What to expect

Making the Most Out of Your Mentor

Calls happen through your mentor's booking system, which will send you a link to join a virtual call. This could be Zoom, Google Meet, or similar.

What you get out of mentoring depends on what you put in. Come prepared. Have questions ready. Share your actual work. The more honest you are, the more useful the feedback will be.
